Owashi Lodge
So, my friend bought a share in a Japanese ski lodge. (Doesn’t everyone?) I was thrilled to be appointed to write the copy for a website refresh. Owashi Lodge is a budget resort in Niseko Japan, one of the best places in the world for deep powder snow. Peak season is December and January, so naturally the place is chock-full of Australian skiers and snowboarders. But it has year-round delights too—spring gardens, summer hiking and skiing in the sunshine in autumn. Niseko’s numerous attractions also include delightful onsens (Japanese hot spring resorts) and numerous golf courses.
Project Description
This was a delightful project brief. I was instructed to appeal to young travellers, mostly Australians, aged in their mid 20s. Knowing this audience are website skimmers rather than readers, I kept the copy deliberately short, punchy and (hopefully) funny.
